My first F Model Mandolin.

The prototype of the Appalachian Fiddle, based upon an old photo of this rare style of fiddle. Note that there are no chin and shoulder rests, nor ways to mount them. This particular model has a cedar top and the rest is a light flame maple, the newer models with use a european spruce.

My first fiddle that I made.

The Cello Dulcimer, Played upright and bowed as a cello, this experimental instrument made enitrely from a cedar chest has a very eery tone.
